I joined the lab late 2022 as a PhD candidate after finishing his MSc in microelectronics at the Delft university of technology.
During my master thesis I focused on energy delivery methods for optogenetic studies, which introduced me to the lab and the world of cardiac physiology.
After becoming an engineer I rejoined the lab to continue the project as part of his PhD training during which he will combine his experience in rapid prototyping and designing electrical devices with the biomedical knowledge in the group to perform translational research. In particular I will focus on the design and characterization of methods and devices used for shock free cardiac rhythm control.
My PhD project is a collaborative effort between this group and the ECTM group within the Department of Microelectronics (prof. dr. GQ (Kouchi) Zhang and dr. R. (Rene) Poelma) at Delft university of technology.
