I joined the lab early 2023 after finishing my Master’s degree in Medicine at the University of Groningen.
During my master thesis I focused on the use of optogenetics for arrhythmia termination, introducing me to the world of fundamental and translational science.
Following graduation, I returned to the lab to start my PhD training, which will focus on human cell models for atrial fibrillation and advancing the translation research on optogenetic arrhythmia termination. These projects are supported by an ERC Consolidator Grant.
