Diagnostics of emerging and poverty-related diseases

Innovations in diagnostics for emerging infections and neglected poverty-related diseases are driven by metagenomics and AI. Point-of-care tests (lateral flow platforms) are developed for low resource settings together with partners in endemic regions in Global South. Collaboration within the Medical Delta, partnerships with private entities, international SMEs, and international consortia drive translation of those diagnostic tools to field applications.
