Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Microbiome
Researchers of the Theme inform institutional and national boards on antimicrobial treatment policies (i.e. multi-resistant bacteria or fungi). Microbiome research is dissecting complex interactions by observational studies and experimental interventions (fecal transplant, (live) microbial therapeutics/metabolites), offering novel therapies for infectious diseases and other medical applications, from neurological to inflammatory diseases and cancers.
