Center for Microbiome Analyses and Therapeutics

The Center for Microbiome Analyses and Therapeutics (CMAT) is a recognized LUMC Research Facility and aims to facilitate a wide range of aspects in human microbiome research. CMAT’s approach is to give support by tailoring its services to your research requirements. We have an extensive track record of internal and external collaborations.

CMAT.pngThe Center for Microbiome Analyses and Therapeutics was established in 2017 and is embedded in the Leiden University Center for Infectious Diseases (LUCID) department of the LUMC. CMAT specializes in (human) microbiome research, with a focus on the role of microorganisms in health and disease. We closely collaborate with the Netherlands Donor Feces Bank (NDFB)  and are a shared facilities of the Leiden Bio Science Park.
