Introduction
I am a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on the care of patients with gastrointestinal cancer. After graduating as a Bachalor of Nursing in 2009, I completed the Master Advanced Nursing Practice at Leiden University of Applied Science in 2017.
Since 2015, I have been part of a treatment team with Gastroenterologists and nurse practitioners. I am involved in screening for pancreatic cancer in individuals with a pathogenic variant in the CDKN2A/p16-Leiden gene. Additionally, I provide care for patients with hereditary forms of (intestinal) cancer (Lynch syndrome) and precursors of colorectal cancer.
