Introduction
I am a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on the care of patients with gastrointestinal cancer.
After graduating as a Bacherlor of Nursing at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda in 2019, I completed the Master Advanced Nursing Practice at Leiden University of Applied Sciences in 2023.
Since 2021, I have been part of a treatment team with Gastroenterologist and nurse practitioners. I am involved in screening for pancreatic cancer in individuals with a pathogenic variant in the CDKN2A/p16-Leiden gene. Additionally, I provide care for patients with hereditary forms of (intestinal) cancer (Lynch syndrome) and precursors of colorectal cancer.
