Dr. R.W.C. (Roderick) Scherptong

I completed my medical studies in 2007 and obtained my PhD in 2013. Since 2018, I have been working as an interventional cardiologist at LUMC. Additionally, I am an education coordinator for the Technical Medicine program at TU Delft and chair of the eHealth & AI working group of the Dutch Society of Cardiology.

My research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence to improve care processes and the treatment of patients with coronary artery disease.
