Dr. J.M. (Jacintha) Tieskens

Since 2020 I work as a senior researcher, teacher and therapist at the department of child and adolescent psychiatry of LUMC Curium. The focus of my research is on unraveling risk factors associated with the development of mental health problems and improving care for children and adolescents with mental health problems and their families. In 2020 I obtained my University Teaching Qualification (Dutch: BKO) . I supervise PhD students and master students and coordinate the Half Minor Child and Adolescent Psychiatry that is provided at LUMC Curium. Furthermore, I am a member (Secretary) of the Scientific Committee of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
