As professor of elderly care medicine, I teach medical students and am involved in the postgraduate training program for the medical specialism Elderly Care Medicine.
My research is based in the academic nursing home network UNC-ZH, and relates mainly to quality of life in dementia and geriatric rehabilitation

My research concerns quality of life and pain in dementia, and about geriatric rehabilitation. Technology is a special topic for both research areas.
