Cancer Immunogenomics
Applying multidimensional approaches to decipher biology
The Cancer Immunogenomics group is highly proficient in employing state-of-the-art technologies including bulk and single cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and single cell and imaging mass cytometry. These approaches provide unprecedented insights into the complex and multicellular nature of cancer microenvironments and the biological processes governing cancer immunity.

Scientific questions with clinical relevance
We are particularly interested in developing novel immunotherapeutic approaches cancers where current immunotherapeutic approaches are not effective like colorectal cancers with low mutation burden and pancreatic cancers. Recently, we teamed up with the Bone and Soft Tissue research group (PI: Prof.dr. Judith Bovée) to investigate the potential of immunotherapy in bone and soft tissue cancers.
