I am a vascular surgeon with a focus on aortic surgery using both open and endovascular techniques. In 2019, I completed my training as a vascular surgeon and began working as a staff member in vascular surgery at the LUMC (Leiden University Medical Center). I am also clinical trainer of the vascular surgery department

In 2014, I obtained my doctorate on the subject of image-guided surgery. The research was partially conducted by me at Harvard University in Boston. Currently, I supervise multiple researchers in the fields of optical imaging, aortic surgery, and surgical personality.
