Drs. M.F. (Michiel) Nijhoff

I was trained as an internist/endocrinologist in the Leiden/The Hague area. During my training I also has specialized in transplant medicine, particularly concerning diabetes. Furthermore, I specialized in acute medical care and adrenal disease.

My research is aimed at optimal treatment before, during, and after islet transplantation. My other research focuses on endocrine hypertension (high blood pressure causes by hormonal diseases)
