Dr. D.J.C. (David) Alders

After my training at the VUmc, I started as anesthesiologist in Leiden. My main areas of interest are pediatric, thoracic, endovascular, and from 2019, also liver transplant anesthesia.

In 2015 my thesis “Heterogeneity of myocardial oxygen consumption in relation to local blood flow” was finished. I was involved in several pediatric anesthesia trials, such as the Apricot and Nectarine studies.
