Introduction
Yvette Meuleman is a psychologist. She works as a senior researcher and lecturer in the field of medical and health psychology, nephrology and clinical epidemiology.

Her research is focused on measuring and improving patient-reported outcomes (PROMs, quality of life, symptom burden); identifying (psychosocial) risk factors for adverse health outcomes; and improving (lifestyle) self-management of people across different stages of chronic kidney disease (patients with CKD, patients receiving dialysis treatment, and kidney transplant recipients).

She is the project leader of national research projects (e.g. the PRO-GUIDE project) and chair of the Dutch Social Science in Nephrology Society. She supervises various PhD-students, and is the internship coordinator and guidance counselor at the Clinical Epidemiology department.
