Dr. R. (Ruifang) Li-Gao

Introduction
Ruifang Li-Gao, PhD, completed her PhD in epidemiology at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) in 2020. Presently, she serves as the coordinator for multi-omics research within the Department of Clinical Epidemiology at LUMC. Dr. Li-Gao specializes in the application of multi-omics methodologies to unravel the complexities of cardiometabolic disease risks. Her expertise in multi-omics research has garnered recognition, leading to the receipt of several grants. Notably, she recently a European grant from JPI HDHL NUTRIMMUNE to explore causal associations between diet and a healthy immune system. This collaborative project involves partners from Israel, the UK, France, and China. Dr. Li-Gao has authored over 70 papers. Since 2021, she has also taken on a part-time role as a researcher for Metabolon Inc., providing her access to extensive Metabolon data from large cohort studies worldwide.
