Introduction
Dr. Scheres is a clinician-epidemiologist whose main goal is to improve the prevention and management of thrombotic diseases. Currently he is combining the final years of clinical training as a vascular-internist (Radboudumc, Nijmegen) with post-doctoral research here at the department of Clinical Epidemiology.
