About your role
As a student assistant, you will support project leader Martijn Sijbom in setting up an interdisciplinary and international minor on sustainable healthcare. You will contribute to both the content and organization, maintain contact with stakeholders, and assist in the preparation and execution of meetings.
Your tasks will include:
- Preparing for and attending meetings
- Reaching out to and informing stakeholders
- Contributing ideas for (innovative) educational solutions
- Providing organizational and administrative support
About your workplace
Your main workplace will be the Health Campus in The Hague, where you will be part of the Population Health Management master's team. Occasionally, meetings will take place at other faculties in Leiden. Part of the work can also be done from home. In November, an international meeting is scheduled in Madrid, which you will attend.
About you
You take initiative, have a strong interest in education and sustainability, and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team. You communicate clearly and are comfortable navigating different perspectives.
You bring:
- You are a master’s student, preferably in Population Health Management
- You have a good command of English, both spoken and written
- You have a demonstrated affinity with sustainability and education

- As a student assistant, your salary will be between € 2,574 and € 3,094 gross per month (scale 3, CAO UMC). These figures are based on a full-time position.
- An increase in the collective wage agreement will take place as of 1 July 2025.
- The procedure involves several stages. Following the review of CVs and motivation letters, there will be one round of interviews.
