Neuroradiology
This research programme encompasses research in the fields of neuroradiology and head and neck radiology. The main disease related topics that are studied within the programme are cerebral small vessel disease/dementia, neuro-oncology, primary headaches and related brain disorders, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, cerebral amyloid angiopathy, vestibular schwannomas, head and neck oncology and surgical hearing and voice rehabilitation.
The main aim of this programme is to study specific diseases of the central nervous system and head and neck region using state-of-the-art image processing, AI, CT and MRI techniques. There is a close interaction with technical researcher from the department of radiology and with researchers and clinicians from other clinical departments.
