Dr. E.L. (Edouard) Fu

Dr Edouard Fu is a senior researcher at LUMC and editor at NDT. Previously, he completed his postdoc at Harvard and was editorial fellow at the leading kidney journal JASN (2021-2023). He received his PhD in 2021 cum laude, given to top dissertations in the field, for the thesis “Optimal cardiovascular treatment strategies in kidney disease - causal inference from observational data”. His PhD was fully funded by an MD/PhD grant from the LUMC Board of Directors. He completed both his bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Honors degree in clinical research cum laude (2018). He is also an epidemiologist with training in causal inference, clinical epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology.
